Delivery and Acceptance Policy
Last Updated: April 2026
This policy explains the terms of procurement, assembly, and delivery for all custom-built drones and specialized components from Dronetribes Aerospace Private Limited (referred to as "the Company").
1. Order Process and Timeline
- Procurement: Custom drone projects begin only after the necessary hardware is sourced from our third-party vendors.
- Assembly Start Date: The assembly and building process officially starts once all components from third-party vendors reach our facility in good condition.
- Building Timeline: From the assembly start date, it typically takes 7 to 14 business days to complete the build, configuration, and testing.
- Time Extensions: If there is any delay due to hardware availability or technical complexities, the Company will discuss the situation with the User and provide a revised delivery date.
2. Pre-Delivery Quality Check & Flight Testing
To ensure 100% quality and performance:
- Flight Testing: Every custom-built drone undergoes a rigorous Pre-Delivery Flight Test before it is packed. This ensures all sensors, motors, and flight controllers are working perfectly.
- Ready for Dispatch: Only after passing our internal flight test and quality benchmarks will the drone be cleared for final delivery or handover.
3. Advance Payments and Cancellations
Non-Refundable Advance: Since parts are specifically ordered from third-party vendors and frames are custom-made for the User’s requirements, all advance payments are strictly non-refundable once the procurement or assembly process has started.
4. Product Handover and Acceptance
- Final Acceptance: Once the drone is handed over (either in person at our Salem office or via courier) and the User accepts it, the product is considered "Delivered in Working Condition."
- Courier Deliveries: If delivered via courier, the User must record a clear, uncut unboxing video. Any claims of transit damage must be reported within 24 hours with this video proof.
5. Strict No-Return and No-Refund Policy
Because our drones are 100% custom-built for individual clients, the Company does not offer returns, exchanges, or refunds after the product has been delivered and accepted.
6. Post-Delivery Risks and Liability
The Company's responsibility ends once the working product is accepted by the User. The Company is not liable for:
- Drone crashes, hardware damage, or injuries caused by pilot errors or bad weather.
- Issues caused by the User altering the wiring, battery connections, or soldering after delivery.
Note: We offer Paid Repair and Maintenance Services for drones damaged after delivery, subject to hardware availability.
